Declared 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate

Matt Snyder

Presidential Candidate Matt Snyder

Snyder Position on the Palestinian Issue

Israel has given up at least 20% of its land to the Palestinians since 1923. Imagine the U.S. agreeing to relinquish Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and another piece of land the size of Ohio. Then, with modern warfare technologies, the new inhabitants of these states decide to fire rockets into the remaining states. If that were the world we lived in, how would we feel about giving in to world pressure and giving up more land to nations whose leaders have proclaimed their desires to eradicate us from the Earth?

Snyder understands that Israel has the military might to destroy its enemies, yet it does not. He believes that this is not the behavior of an evil nation. Like Israel, the U.S. has the power to eradicate, yet it does not. It is the nature of evil to attack the innocent. The nature of good is to defend them. No reasonable person can look at the history of the Palestinians' unprovoked attacks against civilians, and determine that this entity is a force for good.

Snyder's stance on the Palestinians is no different than his stance on any other foreign body: any time evil rears its head against the allies of America, America will be there to remove its fangs. If graves must be dug, it is better that they are filled with the bodies of evil-doers than their would-be victims.
